Community Unites for a Cause: Salute The Troops Foundation Hosts Successful Car Show

Merrimack, NH – On Saturday, August 10th, the sun shone brightly over the picturesque grounds of Anheuser-Busch, where the Salute The Troops Foundation held its 7th annual Salute The Troops Car Show. This cherished event brought together car enthusiasts and community members alike, all rallying to support local veterans. 

With over 180 show cars on display, the event attracted a crowd of more than 500 attendees. In just five hours, the community raised an impressive $15,100, showcasing their commitment to honoring those who have served. The car show featured a diverse lineup, including classic, modern, and exotic vehicles, as well as military trucks, all contributing to a festive atmosphere.

Attendees indulged in delicious BBQ while enjoying live music, creating a vibrant community spirit. The highlight of the day came when a deserving veteran was announced as the recipient of an all-expenses-paid mental health retreat through the Salute The Troops Foundation’s “Sending Heroes Into Paradise” program. This veteran will embark on a six-day, five-night cruise in the Western Caribbean, a well-deserved escape for their service and sacrifice.
