The Salute The Troops Foundation, formerly known as the JAK Kustoms Foundation, is proud to share the incredible success and impact of our annual Salute The Youth Toy Drive.
Celebrating Years of Generosity and Impact
Over the past four years, from 2020 to 2023, we have collected and donated over 9,000 toys to local children in need, making the holiday season brighter for countless children.
Key Highlights:
- 9,000+ Toys Donated: Through the generous support of our community and dedicated volunteers, we have collected and donated over 9,000 toys between 2020 and 2023, spreading joy and holiday cheer to children across the region.
- Hundreds of Bicycles and Wooden Trains: Thanks to the hard work and craftsmanship of our volunteers, we have purchased and built hundreds of children’s bicycles and donated more than 2,000 handmade wooden trains, each lovingly crafted by our long-time volunteer, Leon.
- Walmart’s Discount: Due to the significant amount of toys we purchase each year, Walmart offers us a 10% discount on all toy purchases, maximizing the impact of every dollar donated and allowing us to buy even more toys for children in need.
- Generous Donation from the Gilkison Foundation: In 2021, the Gilkison Foundation generously donated $10,000 towards our toy drive, enabling us to purchase nearly 1,000 additional toys and further amplify the impact of our charitable efforts.
