Hello, fellow supporters! Meet Michelle Desjarlais, though some of you might know her as Stella. Inspired by Jeff Riley’s unwavering dedication to helping veterans, she decided to join the Salute The Troops Foundation.
From a young age, she was committed to community service, volunteering at her local church’s daycare center and working as a camp counselor for the YMCA. She also participated in numerous events for Easter Seals and FEEDNH. In 2020, amid the pandemic, Michelle became a registered nurse, continuing her passion for helping those in need. However, her most rewarding role has been raising her daughter.
Michelle loves gardening, beach outings, traveling, camping, and savoring a good hot dog! She firmly believes that if you’re not helping others, you’re not fulfilling your role in society. Even small acts of kindness, like volunteering your time, can make a significant impact. Michelle looks forward to meeting you at one of the foundation’s events so that together, we can make a difference.
