Rae Lacroix

Rae Lacroix comes from a family deeply rooted in military service, with a proud lineage that includes her grandfather, father, and brother. Continuing her family’s legacy, Rae joined the United States Army immediately after high school. She served honorably as a Military Police Officer and later transitioned into Special Operations before being honorably discharged.

Following her military service, Rae dedicated herself to supporting fellow veterans, focusing on end-of-life care for those in hospice. She remains actively involved in the veteran community through her work with the Salute the Troops Foundation, embodying the ethos of “leaving no one behind”—a core value ingrained in her from both her family and her military service.

Currently, Rae serves in a leading role within a Veterans Affairs organization, where her dedication and commitment were nationally recognized in 2023. She was nominated to represent veterans during the Veterans Day ceremony at the White House with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, the President, and other dignitaries. In 2024, Rae received the Outstanding Achievement Award for going above and beyond in service to veterans and their families.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Rae considers her greatest achievement to be her now-adult son, who continues to make her proud every day. She approaches life with passion and a deep appreciation for every moment, believing firmly that every second counts.
